Reasons to be Thankful for The Yadkin River - A Watershed of History

Interested in anecdotes about the Yadkin River and the impact it made for those on both sides of its banks? Randell Jones, award-winning author and local storyteller, will take you on an historic romp through time during his presentation of The Yadkin River - A Watershed of History on Monday, Nov. 18 at 6 p.m. at the Mary Alice Warren Community Center.

Jones is the author of In the Footsteps of Daniel Boone and Before They Were Heroes at Kings Mountain, and other books of the pioneer era and the American Revolution.

Lewisville Historical Society Presents ... is a bimonthly program of the Lewisville Historical Society and the Lewisville Branch Library. It is free and open to the public. Participants do not need to be members of the society to attend.
