Synopsis and Discussion
Clouds and showers have moved out of the Triad, Wednesday afternoon, as the first of two fronts, pushes to the east. Elevated particle pollution, early Wednesday, has dropped slightly, behind the front, but remains in the MODERATE range. A much stronger front will sweep through the state, later, Wednesday, leading to brisk NW winds and a significantly cooler, cleaner air mass, Thursday and Friday. As a result, particle pollution will drop back to code GREEN, both days. High pressure will settle, over the region, Saturday, allowing for decreasing winds and increased air mass stagnation. As of now, particle pollution looks to remain upper code GREEN, but low code YELLOW can not be ruled out just yet (GENTRY).
